3.0 out of 5 stars Good for a Newborn Boy, but... August 6, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase
This little teepee worked well for my newborn boy, but now that he is older, the teepee will not -ahem- stay on. Not only does it fall off when he wiggles around on the changing pad, but his bladder is much bigger, so the "knock-off" power is much greater. :) Of course, the humor factor is priceless when you see the teepee shot into the air.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy these!! Keep your money! November 21, 2006
I thought these would be great, NOT!! Total waste of money. They are so lightweight and small they simply don't "stay" where they need to. It's like trying to get a cotton ball to stay on baby. Just use a baby washcloth to cover baby while you change his diaper to prevent "sprays".

5.0 out of 5 stars great idea and love it July 31, 2006
What else to say but they are fantastic. So much easier to clean verses the changing table cover, your clothes, babies clothes, a towel, socks, and whatever else was nearby.

The only down fall for us was that at 6mths our son realized he had something down there and started pulling them off and trying to eat them. We have since had to take our chances at diaper change time since we can no longer use these fantastic teepees.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great concept - just not for us March 15, 2009
These are a great idea and we bought two sets (couldn't decide between the footballs and the fire engines!). Unfortunately they didn't work for us. As a previous post stated, they are really lightweight and small. If your little one is at all energetic and moves around during changing (as our's does), the teepee falls right off. I agree that a washcloth works well as an alternative in this case. Hope this helps!

1.0 out of 5 stars Turned out to be a waste of money July 27, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
An adorable idea, seemingly ingenious, but in the end horribly executed and a waste of money. They make for a couple of cute pictures when your newborn is very small and still in the beginning, but as soon as they can move the product becomes more of a hassle than a help. We found placing a burp cloth/cloth diaper over top of them during changes worked just as well if not better. I honestly wish I had saved the money for something far more useful.

1.0 out of 5 stars unnecessary January 23, 2010

Unless your baby sits completely still and has no interest at all in moving his legs, don't waste your money because it falls off constantly. If you'll notice in the picture, the hands are holding the baby's legs. That's why.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wash cloth works just as well October 28, 2007
By J. Norr
Doesn't stay in place. Just having a wash cloth ready or in place worked better than these things.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cute, but dumb September 20, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase
Cute little shower gift as a joke, but less than useless in actual practice. Unless you have a third hand to hold it down while you're changing your baby... they don't stay on by themselves, and even more so if he actually pees!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Cute......but useless
Seemed like a good idea, but they are completely useless. They don't stay on long enough to catch anything. Sorry baby boy parents, you just have to put up with it:)

4.0 out of 5 stars Not perfect, but...
Yes, if your baby moves at all (and he will) these will fall right off. However, I just hold them in place while I'm changing. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Novelty Only...
They are a great shower gift sure to get a lot of "oo-o-ooh"s and "a-a-a-awe"s... but they fall off of baby the second he moves.

5.0 out of 5 stars Baby shower gift
I've given this at two baby showers and these turned out to be a big hit- more like a gag gift- I don't know if tee pees are actually useful.
