Best Books of 2014

Michael Walsh, a former associate editor of TIME magazine, is the author of six novels and six works of nonfiction, as well as a columnist for the New York Post and a contributor to National Review and PJ Media. He was a winner of the 2004 American Book Awards for his novel, And All the Saints.
Reader, beware. Michael Walsh considers the Democratic Party to be "a criminal organization masquerading as a political party," and this broadside is a devastating attack on that party's history, which makes me feel like saying, "Now, Michael, don't be so timid...tell us what you REALLY think of Democrats." :-)
But that does not make this booklet invalid. It is true, beyond doubt, that Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton, and was never brought to justice, and it is also true that the Democrats were on the wrong side of the slavery issue for a century. Most people don't know that the KKK was strictly an organization of Democrats, but hey! Do you think The New York Times is going to tell you that?!
Another point to think about: how many states have fallen under Democrat machine control? I would count Illinois and Nevada for starters, but Walsh has a longer list.
Don't buy this book for an unbiased, even-handed treatment. But you might want to have a peek at the forbidden facts that nobody wants you to know. And you might want to think about the latest Democrat criminal action, which consists of government employee unions working hand-in-glove with corrupt Democrat politicians. The Democrats obviously want to be in office, and the unions give them huge "donations." So when the next raise is on the table, guess what happens.
In this way, we wind up with firemen earning over $200,000 per year (not to mention their pensions) and we even find one City Manager who managed to award himself over $500,000 per year. The Lord only knows how much the unions made off with. It's another one of those California bankruptcies, that's all. Nothing to see here, move along.
Indeed.

Michael Walsh, former associate editor of Time Magazine and a columnist for The New York Post delivers harsh facts and arguments, after tracing the history of the Democrats from Aaron Burr, and the founding of the big-city political machine. He reveals about facts gathered involving crime, scandals, and much more as the war on America continues. The arguments and facts presented are not only thought-provoking throughout, but will certainly make you ponder long after this book is closed. Informative, Educational, and Highly Recommended!

This edition was excellent. The history of the Democratic party is shocking (even to those who consider themselves history buffs)- and sheds a lot of light onto the situation we're facing today concerning politics and the party's evolutionary undertaking. A critical understanding of the party is essential in understanding where it is today and where it's headed, and I think this one is a must-read for all those who are concerned with the state of politics today.

It is a shame that our union run schools teach their revisionist history. Our real history is vibrant and needs no changing, but the left wingnuts won't have any of that! If you want your kids to have any kind of a good education....they will have to go to a private or charter school. Remember that next time you vote!

As a former Democrat I am not sure to weep or celebrate the last gasps of death of the democratic party. This book is very informative, we learn the tragic trajectory of the democratic party and it's destruction it left behind in society. The democratic party of today is a collection of socialists, marxists, pedophiles, pederasts, freaks, welfare dependents, lazies, druggies, all kindS of moral degenerates reside in today's democratic party. The republican party is not free of its own rot, but it's the left that controls the media, academia, and the various cultural institutions that influence society.

Michael Walsh is a master humorist. His Rules for Radical Conservatives was one of the best books of 2010, and I always enjoy anything he writes under the nom de plume David Kahane. Kahane is an imaginary liberal who provides advice on tactics for conservatives as he believes we are unworthy adversaries who are a waste of his Hollywood time. Walsh, is really really funny, but not here in The People vs. The Democratic Party. This is serious. It is a "heartfelt j'accuse" against the louts and entitlement freaks who are currently destroying our nation. As with most Encounter Broadsides, my only lament is that this publication is too brief. The topic deserves more than 45 pages, but what Walsh does provide in this essay is outstanding. It's a historical survey on the diabolical nature of the Aliskyite party, and also a polemic that describes why we have to fight the left if we wish to save the country. Despite being short, this work is absolutely worth your time.

This pamphet is a fantastic piece of authenticated writing. I notice that the "anti" reviews are generalistic and have nothing to say about the facts contained within this piece; just typical, liberal clap-trap, intended to dissuade anyone from actually reading this piece. That would be a mistake because it offers a factual, historical look at what actually has occurred. What this pamphlet does is wrestle the narrative back from the liberal viewpoint which, especially now, acts as if they say something that automatically makes it true. This is a must-read for everyone!
