Two men, one woman and the desire to experience passion beyond their wildest dreams.

Calleigh Wells has spent the last three years rebuilding her life after being notified of the death of her husband in Iraq. On that darkest day of her life she met Rick Conner and Conor McGuire. Two men who share a bond beyond mere friendship.

Since then the three have become inseparable. Both men have become surrogate fathers to Calleigh's twin boys. They've created an unusual family filled with love, friendship, and support. Unbeknownst to her Rick and Conor have also hungered to expand their friendship to new reaches. What will happen when all is revealed?

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny May 25, 2011
By Steph
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was a great value. I loved the story and the characters. The love scenes were hot, the romance sweet, and just enough conflict to keep things from being boring. Some people may be bothered by Conor's accent and all the Gealic, but I liked it. It helped me get more engrossed in the story and the characters. It is a short story, but it is not super short. The story was long enough to get to know the characters and to really care about their HEA.

Overall, a great purchase. I would definitely recommend to anyone that likes contemporary M/F/M.

There was a very enjoyable dynamic to this book and it achieved everything it was meant to achieve. The title fits the story line perfectly as the book conveys every womans fantasy romance. For something this sweet I would change my lifestyle choices too.
Ive always known Irishmen were sexy but this book takes that to a whole new level. *Running off to search for my own sexy Irishmen*

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome! December 9, 2011
By Jen
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
WOW! This was the first time I've read about kids involved in a relationship.
I really enjoyed this one - it wasn't all about the sex, but it about friendship and love, and total misunderstanding people...

When the book first starts out, Calleigh is at a coffee shop trying to decide if she wants her usual or to be adventurous and get a new flavor.. when her phone rings, she's startled to find out that her husband was injured in the line of duty. When she asked how bad he was hurt, all they told her was to call the doctor in Germany to find out the details.

Calleigh hung up and all of a sudden everything around her started to move. Then she found herself sitting down. When she looked up, she saw 2 men helping her. Asking if there was anything they could do to help - She told them she had to get back to her babies, as she tried to call her mom's number, her hands shook so bad one of the men took the phone from her and dialed for her. When her mom answered the phone, one of the men.. Rick talked to her mom, letting her know that they were safe and wanted to bring Calleigh home because she was in no condition to walk or wait. When her mom gave Rick the address, they brought Calleigh to their car.

Trying to be nice, and not think about Kevin (her husband) she made polite conversation with both Rick Conner and Conor McGuire. Conor is from Ireland and has a strong Gaelic accent. When he gets upset or deep in emotions, he speaks Gaelic. It's awesome :) I wish I knew the language. It looks really beautiful '

Anyways - so arriving at home, the guys walk her up to the door, introduce themselves to her mother. Her mother was in tears, and that's when Calleigh saw the man in uniform. She said she received the call that he was injured, but there was a mistake...

1.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable August 6, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have read many books with in this genre. They seem to fall into two categories. Either they are well written, well thought out love stories that just happen to have more than one partner in the mix. (Note: Maya Bank's Colters' series.) Or the stories are like this book: The Perfect Union. Too quick with the declaration of love. Too quick agreeing to a relationship like the men were proposing, and too quick with the sex. Even the acceptance from friends and family seemed to be automatic, as if this type of relationship happened every day.

It is obvious to me that the writer wanted to get the three together so that their sexual attraction can be written. I am a writer as well, so I believe I understand the motivation. She probably had a series of ideas she wanted to accomplish with the book. But I believe she rushed through them, as if doing so off of a check list. Situations have to be worked through carefully and slowly if they are to be believable.

Finding love, especially after the death of someone that meant a lot to a person, isn't easy. Sure, there are those times when the sparks fly, but the widow or widower often feels squeamish about having another relationship. Add children to the mix and, I'm sorry, they don't have sex on the kitchen floor when their children are due home any minute. A mother will do what she can to shield her children and reassure them that they are what is most important to her.

The way Rick and Conor are accepted by the children is believable, don't get me wrong. They were in the boys' lives since they were infants. The children never knew their father so having them around was normal to them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love Stories April 26, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A short read and the price is good.

A young mother, while out and about, gets a call saying her husband has been hurt. He's overseas in Iraq. She starts to fall apart where she is at and two strangers take care of her and get her home to her Mohter and her children. Where she than finds out he is not hurt but has dies overseas. While falling apart and coming to terms with her life, a year has passed and she realizes these two men were there in her darkest hour and they were her rock. Now three years after that day the two men are in love with the woman and she wants to date other men because she has no wish to mess with their friendship, not realizing that she is what they want. Somehow things workout between them, with a few exceptions. Many except what is going on but for a few that do not like their menage relationship. A predictable ending but still a good read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too much for such a short book
This book hit a lot subjects before the HEA. I felt like it was rushed and not fully developed and a little judgemental.

More About the Author

If you look up the word conundrum in the dictionary, there should be a photo of Trina Lane. Her personality is so multifaceted that her friends have spent countless hours scratching their heads in wonder. A scientist with a passion for history, music and photography she loves to travel and experience new places but is terminally shy around people she doesn't know.
Trina has been devouring romance novels since her tender teenage years, although only began writing in 2007. When her debut novel was met with resounding success, she said "Hey I can do that again". The rest as they say is history.
Her choices in reading and writing material are as diverse as her iTunes library, which contains music from Mozart to Metallica. Her one concession is all stories must have a happily ever after ending-did we mention she's incurably romantic?
She lives in Missouri with her loving and indulgent husband, a toddler who rules her world, and an orange tabby cat--affectionately referred to as 'Houdini' for his stealthy escape attempts.
