David F. Aberle, Emeritus Professor of Anthropology in the University of British Columbia, is well known for his publications on the Navajo. Very in depth book for one who is interested in the beliefs and emotions behind Navajo religion. The author has done a very complete study irregardless of the fact that it is written about the 40-50's. It is still important to understand where someone came from.
