About the Author

Kenyth was raised in the remote North East corner of Montana in a little town called Glasgow. He is the eldest of four children and spent his childhood between the homes of his Mother, Stacy, and his Father, Edwin. He has always lived in a fantasy world. The animated Disney musicals, the Land of Oz, and the world of Rainbow Brite all contributed to an over active imagination and the refusal to compromise his view of the world. Continuing support from his Grams and his cousin, Jody as well as working for Disney ensured that the flame of his imagination would continue to burn well into his adult life.

Format: Perfect Paperback
I've never left a negative review before, but in this instance I felt like giving fair warning to anyone considering purchasing it.

I keep this book as a reminder 'how NOT to make a comic book'.

First of all, the cover is done by a different artist. The interior artwork is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

The book looks like an early work by an aspiring artist. It's OK sketchbook material but it is in no way ready for print, and certainly not for the $12 price.

The dialogue is, I'm sorry, completely horrible! Dialogue in a comic should read left to right. It's all jumbled here (example, One character says "I don't know how to yet" on the TOP of the panel, and then on the very BOTTOM of the page, the other guy asks "He can fly can you?") Word balloons are often floating off the page or into an unrelated panel. Please, before you make a comic and ask $12 a copy, use your head and figure out how an eye will scan the page! I thought this was common sense!

After reading this 4 times trying to make sense of the story, I gave up. It seems like the author just put pieces of her own life into a mishmash story about a girl who had magic powers and was princess destined to save a generic fantasy kingdom. It randomly jumps back and forth in time, like 1 1/2 years to introduce a rival character for no reason.

As for the art, very little thought and care was put into it.It looks like it was made in MS paint. Characters are expresionless and blobby. Some of the art is even recycled!

Incoherent. Not recommended.

Here is the link to volume 2 The Phoenix Chronicles Volume 2 I'm ordering it as soon as I get paid this week!

This book is great! I LOVE The artwork in it! I'm a big fan of anime like Sailor Moon and Fushigi Yugi. If you like either of those you'll love this series. I hope they have the other volumes out soon, here. This first volume ended on a major cliff hanger so I really need ta see what happens next!
