It was a very well written book and a great story line.
The story was interesting but sometimes the descriptions of scenes were too long, this was a very long book and at times I just wanted to get through it.
Usually I start reading this type of book and end up putting it down after about a 100 pages.
Smartly entwined to create an unforgettable rewarding experience.
I really doubt I will ever read a story so thoughtfully written as "The Pillars of the Earth."
What a great story! I was somewhat disappointed that I wasn't better able to visualize the churches, but I don't completely fault the author for that. Read morePublished 2 days ago by June
Engaging but slow story. Several typos in the book, which is surprising considering how much the publisher must make from this book. Read morePublished 2 days ago by Joyce J. Eisenberg
