5.0 out of 5 stars Quick read. Excellent variety. December 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
What I really enjoyed was the variety. Each chapter is written by a different author and thus they bring their own unique story and perspective. What an encouragement to be reminded that each one of us is unique and valuable and with focused purpose and effort, we can strive to live that out day by day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible, and Inspirational Book December 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
This book couldn't have been more perfect for me to read at this moment in my life, as I am going through so many changes. I truly enjoyed reading everyone's touching stories and it's nice to know that I'm not alone in my struggles and that eventually things get better and work out as long as you're willing to put in some serious thought and hard work into your dreams and aspirations. This book was a quick read as well, and just what I needed to put my mind into deep thought at the end of the day, I highly recommend this book, it will inspire you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring and encouraging! December 14, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
This is an inspiring and quick read. When considering a major life change, it is easy to get discouraged by well-meaning friends and family members that attempt to steer you away from making a possible mistake, point out flaws in your plans or encourage you to accept your current situation. If you are thinking about changing careers or doing anything even slightly outside of your comfort zone, this book will help build your confidence. It's like having your own cheering section of friends that understand why you desire change and know what it takes to make it happen, all while sharing their tips for success.

This quick and thought provoking read provided a much needed redirect of attitude at the perfect time for me. The authors in this medley of perspectives dole out nuggets of information regarding how to change your life through taking action. Each author walked us through the personal low or “fail point” time in their life and this book highlights not only that turning point but also what each of the authors learned about change and what specifically worked to get them to the current state of their success.
Some authors had a voice that resonated with me more than others, but overall the different voices added up to be a great read.

This short book kept my attention from start to finish.
Life is change. Nothing stays the same, even if you want it to. These true stories provide clear and personal accounts of how ten people made significant change(s) in their lives.
There are some basic life lessons that you may not have learned while growing up. This book offers heartfelt examples ... job or career change, relocating, weight loss, end of relationship, learning to take care of yourself, and more. Struggle and challenge can be seen as opportunities to learn. With an open mind and a shift in perspective, it is possible to get unstuck from the trappings of your life.
Each of the ten stories has some valuable tips, suggestions, questions or ideas to ponder. Reading the book took under two hours, but if I took time to reflect on the life questions and wrote out my answers, I'd still be writing...
There are options, even if you think there aren't.
Everyone makes choices everyday and that is what creates your life.
A quick read and positive, this book shows it's possible to move from a crummy life to create more of what you want your life to be. There's lots of encouragement through first-hand experience.
Even if you don't want to change your life, it's interesting to read about how other people have made changes and have set aside the "rat race" and family pressure, peer pressure, and societal pressure to be who they want to be and live the life they want to live.
