Format: Hardcover
Christian Boltanski's installations and objects revolved around memory, identity and the modern psyche and have made him a renowned modern artist - yet his own story is little-known. Art historian Catherine Grenier is Boltanski's writer and helps him produce an oral autobiography recounting his wartime childhood, career, friendships, approaches to art and relations with dealers and the art world as a whole. Any arts library specializing in modern artists will welcome this.
