Jeff Hoffman says:
Why is the price so freakin Huge? no comic is worth that much

I know, right?.

Is just another DC Comics greedy move.

Marvel have 1200 pages Omnibus at $125, which is expensive but is not $150

But it is $89.00?

I'm talking about the retail price.

The Amazon price will depend on the retail price. If the last one is bigger, the discount on Amazon still shows you a high ridiculous price.

52 comics at an average price of 3 bucks each = 156.00. A few of the issues are $4.00.

I agree about the ridiculous price (although, IMO the more ludicrous issue is who wants a book full of #1 issues? It's like wanting a meal with 52 dishes out of which you take one bite each and leave the rest...), but there is a mathematical reason why they picked $150.00. It is, by a hair, cheaper than buying all the original issues.

That's exactly what I want it for though. It's not for current comic book readers but rather people who want to get started but not sure which series they want to start with.
