I think what makes the movie boring is they go over & over the same thing.
The problem seems to lie in the script; the storyline is talky and static and too devoid of physical action to keep from sagging over the long running time.
If you enjoy Marilyn Monroe, Laurence Olivier, or just a good laugh, I recommend "The Prince and the Showgirl."
Marilyn shines in this film, she dances, sings and acts along side a theater icon. A Week with Marilyn will be my next movie to see.Published 5 days ago by J. Chen

This movie was flawed and over-acted by the director, Laurence Olivier. MM was delivering her usual talented performance but it couldn't save or make the movie a classic.Published 2 months ago by R. D. Mcgraw
Pros: Surprisingly, Monroe's acting and supporting cast
Cons: Olivier's role (not acting, just the part he was playing - got on my nerves). Read more
