5.0 out of 5 stars The first comprehensive NFL postseason book September 22, 2011
Format:Paperback
One of my bigger frustrations with NFL statistics is how scatter shot it is finding historical playoff stats. This excellent reference book finally puts it all together in a nice orderly fashion. Hard to get individual data like games played is here. Plus complete box scores of all the games. This is the first time I've seen an attempt to put together a comprehensive and complete history of the NFL postseason. Warning - don't expect this to be a page turner or to have glossy photos. This book is solely for the hardcore NFL data geek, and there are plenty of us out there. Kudos to Tod Maher and Bob Gill for yet another great football reference book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Encyclopedia of playoffs January 22, 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book has all the stats and leaders of every playolff game and it has career leaders also. It is 4 stars because it doesn't have the starting lineups of each game. The only weak point.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stats, stats, and then some February 16, 2013
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Although every playoff game, including super bowls, is inside this edition, I think that it should have small entries for each game. Even a small anecdote about a specific player featured within each game would enliven it a bit. I gravitate to statistics, so I still appreciate the great scope of this book.
