My 3yo is in love with Super Heroes. This episode has been great for him to get to see those classic Super Heroes. I don't have to worry the problems the heroes encounter will be too controversial for him now or in a few years. This series has a Scooby Doo-feel to it where you can see where the plots are going, the characters are a bit silly, and the animation is clearly from the '70's.

As my son is too young to read comics and definitely too young for most Super Hero movies created over recent years, I love Super Friends for him to view. It allows him to be entertained by the Green Lantern, Batman, Superman, Aquaman, and more.

Sorry to say but I've only listened on and off throughout the episodes so I cannot offer a review of the plots and who exactly is in this season. I chose this one for him because the first part of the episode features all of the Super Friends. The second uses the Wonder Twins (which my son is blah on). The third has Batman, Robin, and the Black Vulcan. The third part is my son's favorite as he loves Batman and Robin. It was his request for Batman entertainment that had me searching for this series.

This show, which I watched each Saturday as a child, remains completely awesome. It has been a pleasure to show it to my own kids, who are delighting in the adventures of the Justice League. While the 70's animation is crude compared to what contemporary kids shows demonstrate, the story lines are compelling and fun, often have a positive message, and keep my boys rapt. I definitely prefer it to current iterations of super hero shows, which are much more violent and vulgar.

too many of the new superhero series are over the top with lasers and guns. I also like that the "bad" people in this show are sometimes "good" people who made a poor choice

daughter is 51/2 and she likes it
son is almost 3 and he watches but prefers all superman or all batman classics

Who would have thought my kids would like the same cartoon I did as a child? I did not even remember that though they are super heroes, they never actually had fights in the episodes like we see in cartoons today so very younger-kid friendly.

I chose this one for him because the first part of the episode features all Batman and Robin as does the fourth part (which includes Superman, whom my son also finds to be very cool). The second part, as usual features the Wonder Twins. The third part features all of the Super Friends (or most, I'm not sure).

Great cartoon classics! They just dont make cartoons of this quality anymore, sad but true, today it's all quick computer animation trash!
