Having said that, this book reads as if it was not edited at all.

This book completely breaks down how the Hip Hop Culture has been hijacked and taken over. It explains how we went from the Golden Era of rap music (1986-1996) to the garbage that is produced today. Have you ever wondered what happened to the KRS's, The Brand Nubians, and The Public Enemy's who brought a level of consciousness to the rap game? How did we get to the disgusting vile Lil Wayne's, Jay-Z's, Rick Ross's, and Nicki Minajs' who are being used as pawns, willingly and unwillingly, to carry out the agenda the so-called elite devil worshipers? We went from having a Black consciousness and a wanting to elevate our people, to a sex, money, and murder mentality which is destroying our youth. How did it happen? When did it happen? Who are the puppeteers making it happen?

Great Read! History & current events. Professor Griff is a very enlightining individual. I purchased the ebook, but will also purchase the hard copy alsi in the near future. You will never understand your history or heritage or anything else if you do not read or research it for yourself. The news propaganda will never tell you the whole truth and nothing but the truth, but professor griff cuts to the chase about a lot evil things that are going on in society and that will impact or has affected the human society. Take it for what you want to take for, but all you have to do is read between the line. Read it for yourself, and begin to place the pieces to the puzzle together. Dig deeper than whats brought to you on the surface, become enlightened.peace&blessing from the NLH.

This book was not what I had expected; though still an excellent and informative read. I expected the book to be about witnessing this corruption from the perspective of an artist in the hip hop game. I expected it to be about the motives and conduct of music executives and their methods of propagating negative Hip-Hop to brainwash the masses as we clearly see happening in the mainstream. The book was indeed about all of that, but not to the extent that I had expected. The book instead lead up to the topic of Hip-Hop by first telling the reader about declassified operations such as MK-ULTRA to convince the reader that conspiracies/mind control experiments do and have undeniably occurred. As an alternative media/political analyst of 5 years now, I had already known of and verified the many cases the book presented. So to the skeptic reading it I say, everything within is verifiable, most of which declassified government operations I had already read about. However, never just blindly believe something that sounds doubtful to you, but more importantly never dismiss anything, you owe it to yourself to research and verify everything personally. Before reading any book like this, I urge you familiarizing yourself with a psychological concept called "confirmation bias" and then be open minded, but never blindly accepting. I myself had already validated mostly everything before reading the book so I was able to read it with confidence. So instead of being skeptical as someone new to the information may be, I was impressed with so many topics being covered in one book. Many important cases even just broken into a single paragraph prompting the reader to research further.Read more ›

This is an awesome book that will lift back the curtain of hip-hop culture that has become so detrimental here of late. I'm grateful to this Brother for exposing what's happening with an art form that has been bastardized, money and image driven to the point that original game changers (Professor Griff, KRS-ONE, Public Enemy, Poor Righteous Teachers etc.) are not even at the forefront with their powerful, inspirational and informative messages. The conspiracy is real.

Professor Griff offers up compelling evidence on the techniques and manipulation of popular media such as music to psychologically hold back the african american community. The "Interesting Read" portion of the book comes from the amount of evidence Professor Griff provides to support his claims with great explanation. Overall I would highly recommend this book to someone who would like some transparency as to what is put out there to psychologically harm both African Americans and the youth alike, as it is not only African Americans who listen to hip hop entertainment.

We are at war. Spirit, mind and body food for survival are within the writers words, resources and graphics. Only the true soldiers will eat.

Good information but presented in a very sloppy manner. Editing in this book is awful. I was looking forward to a specific article and one half of the article was on one page and when I turned the page to finish the article it wasn't there, it had skipped to the next section. The whole book is just a whole bunch of jumbled information and never really adds up to anything specific. I know he says he wants us to do our own research but it would be nice to have some kind of conclusion in the book. Love listening to the guy talk though he is fascinating but ill skip the book next time.
