I 1st came across Mr Vance on Lew Rockwell's podcast <[...]> & really liked what I heard. . . . that being said, about 30 pages on the 400th "birthday" of The Authorized Bible. A quick & enjoyable read.

Format: Paperback
This is just a comment, not a review. I believe that the KJV was more properly a revision of the previous (Tyndale?) Bible, not a from-scratch translation. According to another author, this is evident in the fact that by the time the KJV was published in 1611, the language was already archaic, already being about a hundred years old.
