5.0 out of 5 stars Rave Review on this Sequel! April 13, 2013

Samantha Bayarr has captured our attention again! With each additional book in a series she captivates us with the different facets of her characters. This book has two heart-string pulling relationships going on, and both involve Lydia. You will share her tears over Steve's betrayal, and more as Nathan's relationship develops with Lydia. How will Lydia handle her confusion as her love deepens and develops for these two men? Will Lydia finally marry Steve? Will Lydia come to love Nathan. I loved how Samantha brought the different aspects of the characters relationships together. Lydia may be the quilter; but it is the youngest quilter in this story that captures all of our hearts. Praise to the author. I look forward to the next book. The Quilter's Son: Book Two: Lydia's Heart (Amish Romance)

Named for her great, great grandfather, Edward Livingston Hall, who owned a publishing house in the late 1800's, until his passing; Samantha resurrected this legacy as a way of honoring him for passing onto her his love for the written word.

When it came time to publish her own work, her experience in the field lent her the ability to produce several genres, specializing in Christian Historical Romance and Amish Romance.

Her first book, Little Wild Flower, an Amish Romance, was borne from her up-close encounters with the Amish community she lived near in Indiana until 1995 when she moved to Florida.

The book was very short and had very little details to it. The story could've been expanded more. If I and paid more than $1.49 I would've been upset. I'll pay more attention to the length before I buy the next book in the series!

The series is really great. A most unusual story because most men do not quilt or sew. I am a fan of Amish Fistion books and read them as often as I can. I highly recommend the book to all who enjoy reading about the Amish.

I just loved The Quilters Son, Lydias Heart. It is the second book in this series, and I enjoyed both of them very much. I love reading books that deal with the Amish community, and I think that Samantha Jillian Bayer is just delightful. I have read several of her books, and I have enjoyed all of them very much. The Quilter Son series is a very good read--I highly recommend it.

As I said above, it was slow and not a lot of excitement in what was coming next. Pretty much predictable reading. I do not
think I would buy more of this author. Beverly Lewis writes much better Amish books.

The book was not worth the money! Did I say book. Short story more appropriate. Took about 30 minutes to read.

I expected this to be a full length novel and it is not. It is the beginning of a great story but it could have been taken much further. Just as I found that the story was interesting, it was over.

Loved the story line of the first book, but this one fell short of interesting. Was too short to call a book, more of a Novella. Many typographical errors for this publishing house to put in print. Was very repetitious.

Just as good as the book one. I can hardly wait to read the next installment. Samantha has become a great writer.
