Product Description

RukkNet is the only portable golf net that features a two net barrier system with an easily replaced inside net. Unlike other golf nets RukkNet has a second outside net for safety should the inside net fail. The RukkNet comes with a 4 ply knotless ball returning net. No more mesh like other cheaper golf nets. Knotless netting allows the power from each impact to disperse efficiently. Fully replaceable and as usual it attaches using t bars that fit into large grommets attached to the frame. We have yet to find a tougher system The RukkNet is simple and FAST to set up and take down, generous in size, durable, light-weight, and versatile. It pops-up instantly to let you practice multiple sports anywhere. Use one practice net for golf, baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer and football. Use it indoors or outside, in backyards, basements, garages, on patios, at practice fields, or league games. The RukkNet is ideal for perfecting your swing before the next trip to the driving range or golf course. The ball returns after each shot so no more bending down or having to carry buckets of balls. You can stay in position and find your groove. Correct repetition is the key to a great golf swing. Also a great tool for warm ups before a round. The RukkNet is made from high quality netting and a durable spring steel frame (no more fiberglass poles). The RukkNet is double stitched and built of the heaviest materials available. In other words it is built to last. Carrying case is thick canvas with double zippers for long life, capable of carrying a hitting mat, golf balls, attachments and a golf club, it also has a thick comfortable shoulder strap for long hikes to your favorite practice spot. Very portable at 14 lbs. Folds flat into a 32" diameter. Multiple attachments make this the most versatile practice sports net ever!!! *Rukket is US owned and operated. Unless you are a magician do not buy this product. The videos are all real cool. Setup and takedown are a snap. Well unless the metal frame around your net gets misaligned. Mine came that way. Never was able to get the net to stand up straight. There is even a video showing how easy it is to get the metal straightened out. Well don't believe it. If you are a magician that likes to do ring tricks you might be able to master this thing but if you are just an average golfer who wants to practice his/her game I am doubting you will enjoy the process I went through before sending it back.

Amended comments on 12/2/2013. I have upped my ranking to 3 stars because of some amazing customer service on the part of RUKK NET. I can tell they really care about their customers and want to make right by them. With this kind of service I am so hopeful that my net was just a random bad shipment and I will be pleased when my replacement net is shipped. Looking forward to receipt of new net and hopeful additional positive comments for a company that I am very impressed with.
final comments on 12/5/2013. New net arrived and opened up just like advertised. My initial net clearly was flawed in shipment due to the twisted metal frame. Excellent customer service and the new net prompted me to edit review. The net does work as advertised.

I could not believe how well this net sets up and breaks down. The net almost hops out of its own bag, and sets itself up! It was extremely easy to stow away, again, and fits well into its own carry bag, that sports a handy shoulder strap.

The net is designed so that you must stand fairly close to it - but, at the proper distance (with adequate clearance for the club to swing) I was unable to produce any errant shots that the net did not capture. I especially like the fact that the balls that are hit into the net do not go careening around after being hit. The double netting truly dampens the ball's motion, with no muss or fuss.

Because the net is so easy to carry, set up and break down, I use it more often and take it more places.

I also found the company's customer service to be EXCELLENT.

What happened:
I received my Rukket in the mail today pretty excited because this net will fill an important gap in my ability to improve my swing. Unpacked it in the middle of the living room and it expanded out as expected (I had watched the Youtube videos). I then tried to repacked it for storage. What followed was a nightmare - I twisted the steel hoop. It took me 30-40 of dripping sweat effort to figure out how to get the twist out. Finally, I think what did it was to turn it over (top side facing down) and attempted to fold it up as normal. I think that reversed what I did in the first place to twist the hoop. I leave it to your imagination to envision my frustration.

I did notice that there was a ball of red thread in the bag and that there seemed to be a gap in the sewing at the base of the net. I've not yet decided on what to do. I suspect I'll try to send it back - for this amount of money, I won't accept manufacturing defects.

Thoughts, Feelings, and Opinions
Now that the emotional stuff is out of the way, I think the product has great potential. It's intended design and function is excellent. The only problem I see is that it is extremely easy to twist the steel hoop and very difficult to correct. I tried serveral times to run my fingers around the hoop and determine which way to untwist it - but that didn't work. I don't except products like these to be perfect, but the seller has to do a better job with instructions. No, I'm not talking about the instructions when the product performs as expected, I'm referring to when things go wrong. There is a YouTube video ([...]) that refers to the twisting and how to correct it - go and look at it - to say it is poorly done is an understatement.

Product arrived on May 17th from Amazon. Used the product 2 or 3 times before we left for vacation (May 30th thru June 8th). Used it once the first week back from vacation, and started last week ( June 15th - 21st) using it daily.

Had read the reviews from others stating they had problems with the unfolding / folding up the net. SO, I was very careful to go SLOWLY and by the instructions to be sure I did not put any additional force or pressure on the frame while taking it down. Also, after every session, folded the net on it's side (step #1 in taking it down) and laid it on it's side in our courtyard but only completely packed it away twice since it's arrival.

However, at the end of my practice session on June 21st the frame sprung / broke. NOW, it will not fold up, will not lay flat on the ground or stand up. TOTALLY useless.

A product should last more than 34 days, especially if one has followed the instructions to the letter and has used caution in taking care of this product.

Buyer's Remorse --- YES ! Would not recommend this product to anyone.

I bought the Rukk Net after reading the positive reviews given the 4.5 star ranking. I spend a significant amount of money on amazon and 99.9% of the time the reviews are pretty accurate when there is a large pool of reviewers. This is the exception now that i have bought one of these and returned for new one thinking there was a defect. As the reviews have said, it's very simple to unfold and the netting seems well made. The problem lies in the quality of construction and design of the metal railing that supports the net. I followed the instruction label on the product itself and following the one on you tube video very carefully. When you try to tuck in one side of the railing which basically curls, the other side will not curl and basically straightens to a flat bar and metal is twisted. This makes it impossible to tuck into the circle, leaving you nothing do do with it in it's large state. I've tirelessly tried multiple times with both units without any success. Actually, one of the metal poles actually snapped in half which gives you an idea of the quality of the cheap material. It took me a solid hour to finally find a way to get the original one back in a form that I was able to ship. I addressed this with the company via email and only got one response which said Amazon handles their returns. I then had to take the large box to the UPS to be returned. I'm going through the exact same process with 2nd unit with no response from the seller. I sent them an email and called direct only to get that one response. I have linked a short video and will also be posting a more extended youtube review which i will link once set up. I would save the time and frustration by looking for alternative because these reviews are flawed! I'm going to give the The ProReturn Net X2 at try which looks very similar and a fraction of the cost.
