Rabbi Zwirn is a believer - a Jewish believer. He is fully Jew and professes a love for the Torah, the Jewish people and traditions, and for God. His orthodox upbringing taught him to study the Torah using the strictest research and learning techniques. Little did he know where his learning and education would lead him.

Once the prophecies of Isaiah had ignited his passion and raised questions in his mind, Zwirn set out to study the scriptures related to the coming of the Messiah. Interestingly, there were few others who were interested, curious, or supportive of that quest.

His search of the holy scriptures lead him deep into a thorough study of the prophecies and teachings of all of the major and minor prophets of faith. Systematically and faithfully he applied his intellect and research methodologies to discover that the promised messiah had come in the person of Yeshua 'ha Messhiah: Jesus.

True to his principles, he spoke of his convictions and found himself ostracized by much of the Jewish orthodoxy; not to mention his friends and family. But Zwirn remained faithful and found salvation through this Christ and his life transformed by the God for whom he had searched so diligently.

A sweet and excruciating story of one man's faith and epiphany.

This is a short, but very informative book. The author gives a very good glimpse into the life of Orthodox Judaism and the depths at which the Torah is studied. It is fascinating to learn the methods used in studying the Torah in the author's experience and how his study of the Prophets led to his realization of the truth of Jesus being the Messiah. His honesty, which includes his surprise and disappointment at how he was received by Christians, is very helpful and revealing. I believe this book would be very helpful to anyone wanting to understand Jewish background, thinking, and love for God and the Torah.

The Rabbi searched the scriptures in a genuine and open way and found the truth that Jesus is the Son of God who has already come once and will come again in the not too distant future the way things are looking at the moment on the world stage for us all to see. This truth is researched and explained in a very simple way by the Rabbi. I was hoping for some more prophecy from the Old Testament about the current situation in the Middle East but, the story does not cover this time period.
I bought a second hand copy and was privileged to receive one that had been read by Calvin E Shenk and therefore there were pencil notations highlighting truths, points of interest, etc. which he has done whilst he read the little paperback. those pencil high light made reading the book so much more exciting and challenging for me. I thank Amazon books for their commitment to getting books to people who love to read and learn.
Kind regards
Dianne Halliday
