From the Author

Dear Reader...
Out of the 2 books I've written, this is the most special one of them all because I have lived this book. I never thought that I would grow up to be a writer. Out of all my sibblings; I always had the most difficult time with school. When I first began to write; I always wondered why God chose me...a person who never could do anything right and a person who suffered so much but God showed me through this book, that He uses the one who has become humbled through illness and heartache because a humbled person is more likely to hear His voice instead of their own. A person who can write through pain and heartache doesn't need an education because their education has come through their pain and heartache. When a person has lived the words they write, then the book becomes alive.
God took a person like me, that barely made it through school; so my weaknesses could make a pathway for God to reach out and touch others who hurt. "The Rainbow in the Storm: Finding Hope Where There Isn't Any" will allow the reader to journey with the author throughout the book, so the reader won't feel alone in their own pain. The book will bring renewed hope to the reader and allow them to know that a rainbow can appear, even through the worse storm.
It's Only Because of Him...
Diane

More About the Author

Author Diane K Chamberlain was raised in a small town in Michigan and was born with a congenital problem in both knees. She went through a series of twenty-one knee surgeries, as a means of correcting the problem but there was never really a cure. Little did she know; that God had "branded" her at birth, for such a moment as this. Many in this world grow up and go to school or college, to get their education but that's not what God had in store for Diane. Her education for writing; came from a heart that began to think deeply and connect with God, due to all the pain and heartache that she had been through. As each painful moment came and as each loving desire left; God was taking all the brokenness in her life and He was piecing it together; so she could have the heart He desired...a heart that could understand and care for others, who live in despair.

As of this year; Diane has ministered to many in need, for over 12 years and God continues to open new doors for her to walk through. Now she is serving God full-time, as she continues, to reach out to others in need, through her writings and words of encouragement. One thing that God has taught Diane over the years; is that no matter what we lose out on or experience in life; God will always be there to pick up the broken pieces and fill the empty voids in our lives. At the most difficult and heartbreaking moments of Diane's life; she came to see, that God never abandons His own but rather, He exchanges the painful moments, for the true plan He has for each of our lives.
