5.0 out of 5 stars What's included... June 25, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Since all the other reviews rave about how great all the authors are and how wonderful the books are, I was curious as to which authors and books were included. So, this is what is included:
Starbright by Rachel Higginson
Collide by Shelly Crane
Madly by M. Leighton
Love and Skate by Lila Felix
See by Jamie Magee
Coexist by Julia Crane
Dazzle by Amber Garza
Prince of Wolves by Quinn Loftis
Survival by A.M. Hargrove
Masquerade by Cambria Hebert

I haven't read any of the stories yet, so my 5 star rating is just there because this was free.

5.0 out of 5 stars This collection is a steal!! April 21, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Seriously, there is not one author here I have not fangirled over in a serious way! I fell in love with most of these authors reading the very books in this collection. Not one of these is not worth the price of admission and you get all 10 for the price. I am in awe that these are all in one collection. I am trying to decide which is my fave, but they are all so good. If I had to choose, I think it would be See by Jamie Magee. Her story is so unique and uses music in an amazing way. That being said, Prince of Wolves is the first of one of the most fun and amazing series I have read, so maybe that is my fave. Then again... never mind. Picking a fave is impossible. If you like YA, this is a must have!

5.0 out of 5 stars You more than get your money's worth here. February 16, 2015
Format:Kindle Edition
Book by book:
Starbright by Rachel Higginson: I did like the book, but was a little turned off by the triangle. I think I may read the next book in the series to see if my opinion changes. There was good action.

Collide by Shelly Crane : I enjoyed this so much that I got the entire series. Great writing with a unique spin.

Madly by M. Leighton: I enjoyed this one, but the author seems to have stopped writing, which is a bummer.

Love and Skate by Lila Felix: This was my first intro to Felix. I will read and reread her series. Amazing character development and plot. They could be real! A wonderful find!

See by Jamie Magee: This was another amazing author that I have begun to follow in this series. Incredible writing, though it took me a minute to understand the concept. Boy is it worth it IMO!

Coexist by Julia Crane: I enjoyed this book and got the entire series as well!

Dazzle by Amber Garza: This was good. I did read the series. It has lots of action and twists that kept me wanting to read more.

Prince of Wolves by Quinn Loftis: Absolutely wonderful!! I have since read the entire series and am now reading the spinoff! Amazing writing. Amazing characters. Love the devotion and way the author took the wolf spin.

Survival by A.M. Hargrove: Captivating! I am so glad I came across this book! The world this author creates sucks you in. I found myself seeing the plot unfold, rather than just reading it.

Masquerade by Cambria Hebert: Great idea and story. I have yet to read the others in this series, but it is on my list.

Overall, this set is a goldmine! I found several authors that I absolutely enjoyed their writings! You more than get your money's worth here.

2.0 out of 5 stars Mediocre writing at best (so far), with poor editing. September 4, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
So far, I have gotten what I paid for. Mediocre work with poor editing. Granted, I'm only on the second book, and I'll update this review accordingly if something stands out.

However, the first book had numerous homophone mix-ups, run-on sentences, and other errors. The idea wasn't bad - not great, not terrible, just sort of "eh." A lot of the detail was repetitive, and the characters just did not stand up well. Honestly, I'm not even a Twilight fan, but even Bella and Edward seemed a little less flimsy than Stella and Seth.

The second book changes the opening setting from foggy and wet to bright and sunny within the opening paragraph. I am also noticing some of the same grammar issues that were present with the first book in this bundle.

Mistakes happen now and again. However, if they number so greatly or are so glaringly obvious as to jar the reader from the story, then that speaks to two things to me: rushed writing and sloppy editing.

I really do hope the rest of the bundle improves. I like seeing new names on the YA scene, as I feel that a good YA novel may be enjoyed by any sufficiently mature read, be they a member of the intended audience or not.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent reading with a touch growing pains. September 29, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Each of these books are about problems that young people go through, except these young adults also are dealing with paranormal abilities in the mix. In each book their relationships are put to tests to see how strong each of their faith is in each other. These are all excellent reading material for all ages of at least 16+. Jo-Ann D.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mostly very good books for young adults December 1, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Excellent way to read other authors of specific genres of books is to buy an anthology like this one. As always, some are good, some are not so good and some are not types that one would enjoy. In general one finds at least one new author to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best new series August 14, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I loved this booK! Loving the sieries. I can't wait for the next one.

Please please don't dissapoint. I am tired of horrible endings to trilogys...i.e. Hunger Games, Divergent.

So I'm expecting a good outcome! Thanks
