This story is so damn good that I would spend a third of my life dedicated to such a tale. While munching on cheap food, drowning on expensive beverages, and inhaling even higher priced smokes. The amazing flow of the authors writing style is what I imagine Terry Goodkind, Orson Scott Card, and Jim Butcher's three way climax love child would produce. The most unlikely of characters must form bonds to hopefully overcome an adventure that found them. It keeps me on my toes and only slowed down when it had to. If you're looking for a great story and great author, you must read this.

This is the first book published by the author. Mr. McNally wrote well-developed characters without overemphasizing one character over the other. He also found the right balance of descriptions concerning setting and action scenes.

I was able to visualize the setting and action without being overwhelmed by too many details. That is a common mistake with even best selling authors. I got to know the characters in the book by their actions, thoughts, or what other characters said or thought about them.

The book flowed smoothly without any of the dreaded lulls in the action. I am an avid reader and have no problem abandoning a book if I become bored with it. I was never bored.

I have read many Kindle books with spelling and grammar errors because the author did not take the time to revise and edit. This book does not contain those errors. I also enjoyed studying the well-detailed map.

I highly recommend The Reclaiming and plan to purchase other books in the series.

I was drawn into this book the moment I started reading it. The author's descriptive writing puts you right into the story and you feel yourself transported into his world. The character development gives the reader a chance to get to know everyone that is part of this amazing story, you really care about what happens to all of them. The story never drags and the action sequences left me at the edge of my seat, especially the climactic ending. I highly recommend this series to fans of Fantasy, but it can satisfy all who decide to take this adventurous journey, it will not disappoint. I look forward to buying all the books in this series so my adventures can continue.

The upfront time spent getting to know Glenisle and the uniquely individual characters paid off handsomely. My investment in Tamendad, as well as the characters and the relationships among them, made the progression from one plot point to the next incredibly engaging. There was plenty of action to keep the pace up and enough twists to keep me hooked. I wanted to race through The Reclaiming to see the full journey and yet read slowly to relish every page as the story unfolded. That is the sign of a very good book. I will keep thinking about each character, each story, each open ending, until I can get my hands on the next book in the series.

I picked up this book merely because my husband's co-worker wrote it, however I was entranced after the first chapter. It is not my typical genre, but the storyline is interesting, characters are well-developed, and there is action, love-interest, mystery... a little for everyone. I spent many late nights reading because i had to read just one more chapter. I can truly see this being made into a fantastic movie! I plan to suggest it to my book club as well.

A wonderful book with well developed characters; each getting a turn having their story told & having it all brought together. You wade into the culture of this new world and for one of the first times you dive into the deep dark culture of the antagonist & get to see the story from their point of view as well. Overall, a great read and most certainly worth the price, especially; if you love fantasy!

This is well written, great character introduction and development, well paced to hold my interest, fast moving action scenes, character development progresses throughout book and the author had the ability to instill in me a desire to read the next book because I want to know the stories of each character and what their future holds for them and Glenisle!

I can't recommend this book enough! It has become one of my favorites and a book I will read again. Great characters that develop strong relationships and rally together for a cause. It made me laugh and made me teary eyed and I was able to visualize every scene. My disappointment was that it ended. Please tell me there will be a follow-on book…SOON!
