The importance of the information contained within these pages cannot be understated. The work that Mrs. Wells-Barnett did needs someone to pickup and carry it on. Lynching has not been ceased in the United States. Rather, it has been legalized with laws such as stand your ground. This book is the blueprint for how we can work to get these Stand Your Ground laws reversed and/or abolished in entirety.

The treatment of black people in this country has never been good but This time period was its worst. This is a great read for all Americans makes you wonder how savage you would have to be to treat another form of life let alone a human being this way.
