5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Book! July 9, 2008
Format:Paperback
The Reiki Teacher's Manual: A Guide for Teachers, Students and Practitioners I read Tina Zion's new book from cover to cover. The organization and the text are so clear and concise that this is an excellent manual for a Reiki teacher or student. I am a college professor so I admire an author who can present her material in such an understandable and easy flowing manner. If I were teaching a Reiki class, I would most certainly use this book for myself and my students. I learned a great deal about energy and Reiki from reading the manual and I look forward to other offerings from this author in the future.

Comprehensive in its coverage of Reiki and clear in its design, this book is a priceless step-by-step guide on how to conduct Reiki classes. All you need to know as a Reiki teacher is right here -- including handouts! It also contains more in-depth information for those of us who have already been trained in Reiki. A fun and enjoyable read, the author's writing style reflects her wisdom, reverence, and vast experience with Reiki.

I believe that I was one of the first Reiki Masters to buy, read, and review Tina Zion's new book. I could not put it down. She has created an easy to understand, concise yet comprehensive method to consolidate the three teaching levels of Reiki into one book for both the teacher and student. I am planning to use this book in my classes. Thank you Tina!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Reiki Teacher's Manual is a wonderful resource August 30, 2009
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I have been a Reiki practioner for almost a year and found this book to be very helpful. Since my original teacher moved out of the country, it was nice to be able to turn to this book for additional guidance and refreshing. It provides the history behind Reiki as well as step by step instructions for hand positioning and how they relate to the different chakras.

I also own Diane Stein's "Essential Reiki: A Complete Guide to an Ancient Healing Art". I think these two books are wonderful resources for Reiki practioners no matter how long you've been practicing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reiki Teacher's Manual February 17, 2010
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I have read hundreds of books on Reiki. This one is a no frills book with great information on teaching. If you are not already attuned to Reiki it would not be a good book to learn from. It is a basic outline of teaching a class.
It is a good book for newly attuned master/teachers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Straight Forward with some Great Suggestions March 11, 2010
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This manual is especially helpful to the first time Reiki teacher. The handouts are useful and easy to read. The author walks the Reiki master through attunements for larger classes which are so much easier than the attunement style I learned. The look and feel of the book is friendly too. The pages are a soft, light beige pastel so they are not glaring white. If you are a new (or not new) Reiki teacher, this is a helpful book to use.
