Book Description

August 1, 2009
"The new physics will have to account for a `field of consciousness,' and it may have to deal with the idea that intelligence and awareness [do] not require a physical body in the sense we are used to."

--Claude Swanson, author of The Synchronized Universe

What if the true nature of reality were like an onion, made up of layer upon layer that, when peeled back, would reveal a creative, self-regenerating, weblike core? A center that could contain the whole of all that is, was, and will be?

As physicists search for a Theory of Everything, those who dare explore the paranormal are similarly searching for a unifying theory to explain the vast unknown, from UFOs, ghosts, and cryptoids to clairvoyance, remote viewing, and teleportation. How do these things occur? Where do they come from? What triggers their manifestation in our simple, three-dimensional reality?

Scientists and paranormal researchers alike are looking to resonance as the theory that could bridge the gap between science and the supernatural...and explain every facet of reality in between. The Resonance Key dives into the most amazing new ideas, theories, and research that link vibration, mind, and matter, including:

* What ancient civilizations knew about resonance and the use of vibratory patterns found in art, nature, and science, and how they incorporated resonance into their sacred temples, megaliths, and churches.

* The most cutting-edge research into the brain and human consciousness, and their roles in perceiving, and creating reality.

* Why the Zero Point Grid may be the most foundational infrastructure of reality itself.

The Resonance Key opens the door to a stunning new vision of what may finally be the holy grail of science and the paranormal.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointing October 20, 2009
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I ordered this book after hearing Marie D. Jones being interviewed on Revelations with William Henry (sister Internet broadcast to Whitley's Dreamland on Unknowncountry). During the interview Marie impressed me with her wide understanding of resonance, frequency, and related topics. Unfortunately this book comes nowhere close to that level of lucidity.

Most of the book, until chapter 9 of 11 (page 179 of 235) is an extended magazine or wikipedia article on sound, frequency, etc. (Think I'm kidding? Many of the images from this book are courtesy of Wikipedia.) The presentation of this survey is bland and even has some errors (including the chart on page 47 which turns the hertz from exponential representations to odd looking numbers such as 10^12hz typeset as 1012hz.) You could get away with this extended info regurgation prior to google but it does not constitute informative writing today. Search engines on the Internet provide us with a wide net to capture information. In reading books we are looking for information that is deeper than we can usually find on the Internet or magazines.

The closest the book has to offer to the discussion of frequency and resonance models of reality is in the last three chapters 9, 10, 11. It is in this section that the book turns to the topic of 'the grid' and eventually gets around to talking about zero point energy. And even the technical concepts presented at the end of this book won't do you much good unless you have spent some real time doing personal metaphysical gruntwork first (meditation, energy healing, QiGong, plant teachers, etc.)

So if you have not heard of standing waves, scalar waves, resonance, Cymatics and the like, then this book is worth a read.

5.0 out of 5 stars What floor are you on? August 24, 2009
Format:Paperback
The authors did such a great job and providing a way to visualize how our reality, universe, etc; can really be in parallel with an infinite number of other realities, universes, etc. I've been reading about UFOs and the paranormal for some time, but it wasn't until I was presented with this take on things that I had any clue as to how they could operate. People report UFOs simply blinking out, disappearing, ghosts appearing and disappearing into thin air. How are these things possible if they are operating within our three dimensional world? Read this book, and you'll find out!

2.0 out of 5 stars Minimal data November 30, 2009

The book seems to deal more with the speculation surrounding paranormal activities rather than the science of resonance. Not a good choice if you are interested in learning about resonance and its integration into the human body.

5.0 out of 5 stars A top pick for new age collections October 18, 2009
Format:Paperback
Those exploring the paranormal are seeking a Unified Theory to explain all elements of this realm - and THE RESONANCE KEY is a survey of the explanations that could bridge the gap between science and supernatural worlds. From the history of human knowledge about resonance to the latest brain and consciousness research's implications for paranormal studies, THE RESONANCE KEY is a top pick for new age collections but will reach into many general lending libraries.

I enjoyed Marie and Larry's offereing on Resonance and its potential relationship to paranormal phenomena primarily because they delved into an area that I have also researched from and audio and acoustic engineering view point. Included is an overview of what resonance is, types of frequencies and propagation, some reported effects on humans by other researchers, and postulations and theories of other researchers that have also studied and experimented with the subject matter. While it may be dissapointing to some of the more scientifically advanced readers, I found it valuable as it is an invaluable reference for the new or inexperienced researcher that wants to grasp the concepts of frequency, waveforms, wave propagation and resonance. It provides stimulating food for thought, and does provide interest to those who are more advanced scientifically, if kept in its proper context. A great book to keep on your e-reader for field or study reference. Oh and the bonus? The Zero Point Field!

Good job Guys!

As our technology evolves, our understanding of the world around us is changing dramatically. Unfortunately, many people are trapped in old outdated paradigms that are dysfunctional in today's world. Nothing is more important in a society with high technology than to bridge this gap. Understanding frequency and resonance is the key that unlocks many secrets, from quantum physics and paranormal experience to music and health. The Resonance Key by Marie Jones and Larry Flaxman will help cleanse the doors of perception and reality will appear as infinite possibilities at a time when we need it most.
