Very Deep, I like MC better than Steve Roach now,

Max is a surprisingly good find. His music sounds like a deeper form of Steve Roach. I like Steve but he is so prolific that he can afford to play in so many styles that much of his stuff does not appeal to me. Steve Roach is best in works like Slow Heat, Beyond the Blood, Slow Dissolve, and Immersion Three's First Light.
What Max has done is to carve out a very deep ambient vein and to really hone on those resonances which can tune your consciousness both to the deep earth and to the cosmos. Very highly recommended (4.5/5.0) |
