4.0 out of 5 stars Decent "Return" for Lauren Bruni October 26, 2009
Format:Kindle Edition
When I saw this item post on the Kindle, my heart skipped a beat. I almost knew what it was going to be.

Certainly enough, it was Lauren Bruni FINALLY making her return after "A Death at the North Pole."

However, the main focus is not Lauren, she is a side story in the book, which reads as a collection of short stories and each is a chapter in the collection.

Basically, a whole mess happens in Arizona with various demons and supernatural creatures spewing havoc across the land.

The timeline flows well between the stories, and then the air gives out at the end. When you expect a huge battle between Lauren and the Nightmare King, well....you can read it. There is a lot of psychological horror built in this. "Autopsy" is included in this collection, which I am guessing since it was listed as its own item, maybe it was a sample?

Overall, good writing and some great tales. Not a five star, but a decent entry for Andre.
