His personality, presentation and the beautiful landscapes he takes us through, makes this film a must watch." - Gaurav Jani (director and producer of award winning moto-documentary "Riding Solo to the Top of the World", by DirtTrack Productions) --Dirt Track Productions
About the Director
After moving to China, Carl Parker decided that his life altering experiences there should be documented and shared with the world. In only three years, he went from a casual photographer to movie producer driven by his passion for creativity, motorcycling. During his time overseas, he has helped dozens of travelers find their ways across the wilds of Western China, become involved in the Chinese motorcycle industry and created one of the most complete sets of geo-tagged images of Western China on Google Earth. Last, but certainly not least, Carl is dedicated to inspiring people to achieve the impossible. In the near future, he hopes to submit "The Return" to film to festivals in 2009 and become more involved with the cinematic community and learn how to further develop his editing and storytelling skills. With hopes of creating and directing yet another film in the not so distant future, he looks forward to getting in touch with his viewers and welcome all honest criticisms of his work.
