I worked as a front desk clerk at a hotel and I have to admit, The RevPAR Formula pretty much sums up some of the most challenging circumstances hospitality professionals encounter! This great guide should be given to all new hotel employees during orientation right along with their employee handbook.

This book is a great and easy read for anyone and should be placed in the hand of every new manager and every incoming college freshman studying Hospitality Management. A great look into the world of management and how to handle precarious situations.

All in all I give this book an A++, and that's from a person that has been in this industry for more than 15 years now. Watch out Covey and Blanchard, here comes Hiller and Woods.

This little book is a must read for employees of all job descriptions in not only the hospitality industry but anyone who
deals with the public and all of its challenges. My sister and I have a wine touring business and we deal with the
public all of the time. This common sense (something that should be called 'uncommon sense' since it is so hard to come
by) approach expresses a basic premise of respect for both the customer and fellow employees and the importance of
communication for all involved. A great read!

The RevPAR formula is a fabulous easy read. The book is entertaining and educational all at the same time. I have been in the hotel business over 25 years and this book really is educational. This book should be recommended to anyone who wants to know or understand about occupancy and average daily rate. Great job and thanks for publishing! Listen up Marriott, Hilton, Choice Hotels and Holiday Inn.
