I have seen it twice and will see it again! Phil Keoghan and his merry band gave us the adventure of tough riding and rough roads with the laughs of bone weary tiredness. Inspiration from a team of friends with a goal for MS. Don't miss this movie!

The Ride was inspirational, hilarious and engaging. It has built-in suspense and adventure, while also being funny throughout. You feel like you've known Phil your whole life after watching him ride through his journey and hearing his commentary about his experience and his relationship with his father. It's extremely personal, yet I feel it will reach a very wide audience. You can't watch The Ride and not want to do something physical afterward, especially for charity. And I agree with the other user's review--the camera work was fantastic! I highly highly recommend The Ride!

Phil Keoghan's film "The Ride" is truly inspirational and full of heart. It's not only a film about biking, but a film about family, friends, perseverance, goals, support, compassion, doing things for others and learning about yourself by challenging yourself. Phil pushes himself to the extreme and even though he encounters many hardships along the way his sense of humor and light hearted personality light up the screen and his positivity shines through. It's amazing to see the people he meets along the way and hear the stories they have to share. They are all such incredible people. The film is quite an adventure! I recommend you see this film!

I am not usually a big fan of documentaries, but this one is top notch. I am a cyclist, and watching Phil go through what he did to ride all the way across America was simply amazing. As a regular participant in MS Bike Ride fund raising each year, it was also awesome to see him do it all for that great cause (and bit of his own need to deal with his mid-life crisis).

The movie is inspiring, emotional, and at times humorous. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

After having first person experience in the tremendous effort made by Phil Keoghan and his team, I was pleased at how well this movie captures the incredible journey. I had the pleasure of working with this crew as they traveled through Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Such wonderful people on a fabulous mission. His effort raised substantial funds for an incredibly important cause - the National MS Society. Makes me want to work harder and perform better everyday. And, yes, you will laugh, cry and want to try the unimaginable after watching this awesome journey for a better good.

I saw this tonight in the theatre with Phil, and it quickly became one of my favorite films. It's one of the best I've seen in a while, and I went to the Banff film festival & others. This is more than an adventure story. It's moving, and funny with more than one good hard laughs in there. Watch it- you'll be very glad you did!

Always a fan of biking and the Amazing Race, I was intrigued and rode with Phil for a few miles where he started his cross country adventure. But hearing the testimonies of MS survivors from that day forward, and along his route as we followed him online, compelled me to be a fundraiser myself.

The Ride is an honoring, tip of the hat from Phil to the beautiful countryside that challenged him, the ego that drove and humbled him, and the people who touched him and spurred him on. You gain good insight into a good man, trying to do a good thing. And how it really took a small roving, rolling village to keep this man, schedule and dream alive.

Professionally and personably shot, the footage is not so much about the thrill of attacking the French Alps with Lance, it's more about an ordinary man that tried to do something extraordinary. We join Phil on this fun, exciting ride, but we get to know the heart of people, including his team, and we gain hope in the generosity of people.
