Just when we feared we would be subjected to horrible Rap throughout the rest of eternity, a wonderful song blossoms amist all the noise.
I first heard "The River" on the Steve Harvey Morning Show and instantly fell in love. Noel Gourdin is a talented and soulful storyteller with a bright future.

I heard this song played by Tom Joyner one morning. I've searched for the cd with no luck. It's disheartening to hear something this great and not be able to purchase it, This is one I'd play repeatedly for many moons to come... Hope there's access to it REAL soon.

I am so overwhelmed by this song and this artist! It has that "ol time religion" we oftimes miss in this new "rap gospel" genre....great job young man, GREAT JOB!!!! All these gospel artist tryin to be HIP, be soulful and you'll garner listeners craving your sound. And if this wasn't meant as a gospel song it has the fruit to be ONE!!!!!
