Eventhough he calls himself the "Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment"...it's really hard to argue it as he's without a doubt the biggest crossover star in the history of the business as both The Rock in wrestling & Dwayne Johnson in Hollywood. Despite making a few cameo appearances here & there over the years, he's back to tell his story here as this is the first documentary that covers his career from beginning to the present time. You'll hear new comments from The Rock himself throughout the documentary along with others involved in his career including his parents Ata & Rocky Johnson, Vince McMahon, NFL player Warren Sapp, his ex-wife Dany Garcia, Pat Patterson, Jim Ross, Triple H, Mick Foley, Ron Simmons, Steve Austin, John Cena, C.M. Punk, Chris Jericho, Hulk Hogan, Cheri Oteri from 'Saturday Night Live', Carson Daly, Michael Clark Duncan, and Chuck Russell who was the director of "The Scorpion King."

The documentary starts off talking about Rock growing up in the business through Peter Maivia & Rocky Johnson with people sharing their memories of him at the events (including footage of him in the crowd at shows) before going into his football career from his days as an all-american to the University Of Miami (with comments from his fellow teammate Warren Sapp) to his year in the CLF. Him breaking into the business was discussed next from the story of how he got his dad to train him to the phone call leading up to his debut where everyone saw that he had the talent.

Watching this DVD, definitely remarkable. It would've been better if it was released later to include the buildup and match at Wrestlemania 28. Otherwise very well put together. It includes 10 matches not 11 plus 3 promos. Definitely recommended.

SO The Rock is finally getting a documentary set. Perfect time as he is wrestling what will likely be his final match at WM28 just weeks after this is officially out.

Disc 1 - Documentary (chapters already listed by another user).

I really wanna go through just some of the following:

SSeries 96 - Debut of The Rock (or as he was called at the time, Rocky Miavia). Rock's come a hell of a long way from what you'll see here. Especially with the hair lol! Debuting at SSeries in MSG? How many people, if any can top that? Rock' team consisted of Marc Mero (he was still The Wildman), Barry Windham & Jake Roberts. Their opponents? HHH, Goldust, Crush, and Lawler.

SSlam 98 - The infamous Ladder match from one of the best ppvs & one of the best SSlam's in WWE. It's been released & seen before. But it's one of Rock's best matches & deserves to be on here.

Breakdown: IYH - Rock, Shamrock, Mankind in a triple threat Steel Cage match. If that isn't enough, the winner is supposedly the #1 Contender. And I say supposedly because I'm not sure if the winner actually got his one on one Title match before the SSeries 98 Deadly Game Tournament.

Royal Rumble 99 - The I Quit match! Rock vs Mankind. This is a brutal, brutal match. And that is putting it mildly. Make sure your kids/younger siblings are dreaming while you watch this.

Backlash 99 - I'm glad this is here because as great as Austin vs Rock was at WM15, I liked this one a bit better & they've had better WM bouts.

SSlam 2000 - Rock vs Angle vs HHH for the WWE Title. It was a great bout. Great build-up too.

Raw, 12/18/00 - Here, we have Rock & Taker (in his biker days. The ABA to be more specific) against E&C (Edge & Christian) for the Tag Titles. A rare bout.

How did WWF get by so much?
This is good news! I can't stand the mosaics!! The pixelization makes me feel like I'm watching Japanese prono lol. I agree that WWE should just pay the World Wildlife Foundation some money so they can use their old WWF logo!! The WWE videos would be a lot better and less annoying to watch.
