Millet is an excellent writer, thoroughly examining archaeological fieldwork as the basis for his conclusions drawn within the text. He can be a bit dry, but he has a wealth of information to share. If you're heavily interested in Roman Britain and how the Romans went about 'romanizing' the Britons, this book is a good choice.
