3.0 out of 5 stars 3 just for their customer service March 4, 2014
I have a non-HD Kindle Fire (yes yes, I need to get with the 21st century...), and The Room Two is not showing as available to my Kindle. Reached out to Fireproof Games via an email on their website about why Amazon's page wasn't clear about which Kindles were supported... they replied in less than 2 hours.

I'll say that again - in less than 2 hours. HOT DAMN THAT'S GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Granted, their very polite email explaining that it will not work on non-HD Kindles yet wasn't quite what I wanted to hear, but - 2 hours! Here is the email chain - and I can tell you that I'll probably be upgrading my Kindle soon, because well, I really want this game.

Game: The Room Two
OS: Android Enquiry
Device Manufacturer: Amazon
Model/Name: Kindle Fire 7"
Your enquiry: The Amazon store says that The Room Two is available for Kindle, and that Android 2.3 or higher is needed, which my Kindle Fire has. However, it then says that my Kindle is not compatible. I saw the note for why some devises are not yet available (powerful game), however if both your site and Amazon say it is available, why would it not be?
BTW - I've conferred with Amazon and they do not understand why not either...
Thank you - and I'm very eagerly looking forward to playing!

Hi ,

I'm afraid that The Room Two is a bigger and more complicated game than The Room was, and we're struggling to get it working well on the non-HD versions of the Kindle Fire.

We're still working on it, so we'll let you know if/when it's available to you.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Rob.

This game (like the first one) consists of an involved series of puzzles that unfold both the story and other puzzles. There is an end and the fun is the journey. (A journey which takes a bit of time to complete and is keeping me entertained along the way.

The graphics are detailed and spooky. The background music and sound effects are outstanding and perfectly matched to the game.

Do what I did with the first game and will continue to do with this one; put on your headphones, turn down the lights, and dive into The Room Two.

5.0 out of 5 stars FIREPROOF DELIVERS BIG TIME WITH THE ROOM TWO February 14, 2014
Verified Purchase
It has been worth the wait. The graphics and atmosphere are stunning and the gameplay exceeds the original The Room provided, in terms of pacing, variety and creativity. We all loved the original and kept our fingers crossed that lightning could strike again. FIREPROOF GAMES has given us such a fully realized GAME with Room Two that I just cannot rate this effort highly enough.

After being bored to death with the toxic waste dump of mindless hidden object games, I had begun to wonder if anything really creative and fun would come along for Android devices. So often, if a game was decent, it was a port of an old Windows games with terrible controls because of the obvious lack of a joystick. The controls on both ROOM versions Are as smooth as silk. I downloaded the game and spent a good deal of the day playing it. It is beyond amazing. It was worth the wait in every respect. If you enjoys the original room because of the variety and quality of the puzzles, you will be in for a real treat on ROOM TWO. Fireproof has shown that they are ready to keep things beyond interesting and this is the only gaming series I have run across for the android market where the ability of the makers has exceeded my expectations in every regard.

If you loved the original because of the mileage derived from repeat playing, you will be blown away by this new offering.

Works great on a 8.9 HD Kindle with a 16 GB drive. If you are running low on space, I would advise chucking out some of the more mindless games and making certain you devote the resources necessary as this game is well worth it.

Thank you, Fireproof Games. The wait seemed like forever, bot you have delivered the crown jewel that all of the bigger houses will wish they could have made. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great one from Fireproof Games! February 14, 2014

I had been excitedly waiting for this game for a while, and I was definitely not disappointed! I purchased this app as soon as I could and don't regret it in the least. Certainly worth the three dollars I spent on it. The graphics are great, the storyline is fantastic, and it's just enough of a challenge. It's longer than The Room and, dare I say, even better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing- Even better than the first! February 13, 2014
Verified Purchase
This game is the BEST sequel to what was the most amazing game of 2013! This game continues the story where you last left off- but it's not in a predictable/cliche way. There are now multiple rooms, and the game feels newer and more responsive than ever. I've been following all of the updates online on fireproofgames website, and have been anticipating this game since they released first to ios. If you're not sure about this game, you can watch a preview of its gameplay on the developer's website. It's a little similar to a pc game called Myst. "Similar", but not the same by any means. This game is fresh and original. You should definitely give this game a try- and snatch up the original which is down to only .99 cents. You won't regret it!

Update: The price of the first game was up to $1.99 (sorry) when I reviewed this. It is now back down to an unbeatable .99 cents again. But I guarantee you, it is worth every penny! These two games employ your touchscreen in ways you only dreamed possible- turning keys, solving puzzles, playing a piano, rotating objects... and so much more! And as much as I love all types of "room escape" games... these games leave them in the dust. Once you play, you'll see- fireproofgames is simply on a caliber that only a select few can reach.

Truthfully, I hope they make this a trilogy; because I can't get enough of these games!
