Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
Written in 1940 (translated to modern English by the writers son I believe) by a very pro-Hungarian writer. The biasness is striking. Not very flattering to Czechs, Russians, Jews, Orthodox...everyone not Hungarian. Not very glowing of Rusyns either.

But taken for the particular point of few it represents, it's an interesting contrast to the more recent (more enjoyable) books about Rusyns.

actually i cannot value this book objectively since i bought it for my friend who is a rusyn by origin and who collects various books and other sources about his nationality..what can i say a new book costs big money and i managed to buy a used one but in really good condition at some $10-12
