This is a good bag, especially for the price. Not too big or heavy, it easily holds water bottle, book/magazine, and necessities. It's 18 inches wide at the zipper top, and 15 inches at the bottom. The detachable shoulder strap is a bit narrow at one inch wide, but the leather cushion helps somewhat to distribute weight. The interior cloth lining is pretty ordinary and not especially soft, but the interior does have two small elastic pockets (cell phone sized) opposite the pictured zipper pocket. I hope it will be useful for travel and as an everyday life-with-kids bag.

I purchased this bag so I could carry something more stylish than a diaper bag, and something that I will be able to use once a diaper bag is unnecessary. It is a lovely shade of green that goes with everything, and it is a simple design without a bunch of nonsense complicating things. It holds anything I want to put in it - snacks, jackets, diapers, water bottles, and even three-ring binders. I am very glad I purchased this size and not the smaller version. The shoulder strap comes in handy, although it can be uncomfortable if the bag is very full. Good storage on the inside for wallet, keys, and cell phone - not a lot of pockets, but enough. I like the open space because of how I use the bag.
The reason it got four out of five stars from me is the zipper. It is a heavy metal zipper that hurts if you catch it with your skin and it can be a bit stubborn to zip and unzip sometimes. But, if I could afford it, I would buy it in more colors.

I have this bag in sand, which is a very neutral all year color. I use the double shoulder straps not the adjustable long strap. This bag slouches beautifully for a perfect 9" or so drop. The leather is so soft. 2 elastic pockets inside and a wall zipper pocket. I use a Purse Perfect inside mine for total organization. I am a handbag fanatic and have spent a lot of money on them but I am proud to carry this bag. Looking to purchase several more colors.
