I am in love with this woman's voice. In past albums, she created two of the best songs ever made, "The Way it is" and "Lover of Mine", and her cover of "Hallelujah" is a moving experience, truly amazing, but she has since been evolving, refining, and becoming a more perfect version of everything good about the way she sings. And there are no words that can accurately describe that. I thought she was perfect years ago. This entire album "The Science of Making Mistakes" is beautiful, remarkable, and pure. Mieka, you have never sounded better. I am in awe. Bravo! To anyone even considering downloading this album, I promise you will not be disappointed. This is music at its finest.

Mieka Pauley is great. Have seen her in two live shows - just her and her guitar. Literally. No sound guy. No light guy. No nothing. She does it herself. Her album has some professional polish and backup instrumentation giving a fuller sound. But, it is the lyrics that will get you. This woman has lived.
