5.0 out of 5 stars Great showcase of the breadth of skeptical though November 23, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Great book that gives you a good overview of skeptical thought across many disciplines by talking to lots of different people about how they apply skepticism to their lives. Quick and easy to read. Gives you lots of ideas of where to go next (e.g. by figuring out who to look up next) in your skeptical journey.

5.0 out of 5 stars "What do you mean, you're a skeptic?" August 7, 2012
By Joey H.
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
For most people, the term "skeptic" is synonymous with the term "cynic." But in fact, skepticism is a way of questioning the world around us to discover how we know what we know. The interviews in this book (full disclosure: mine is one of them) demonstrate what it means to be a skeptic, whether in science, the arts, or elsewhere. If you are a skeptic, and you've ever been asked the question in the title, this is a great book to recommend. Kylie approaches her subjects with an open mind and genuine curiosity; she wants to learn herself as much as she wants to share with her audience. This is a rare quality in many interviewers, and it shows in the depth and breadth of the interviews transcribed here.
