Over the course of thousands of years, humanity has evolved tremendously. In that time, we have gained a brand new understanding of the world operates and how we fit inside of it. Although Gary Zukav’s book is over 25 years old, it still maintains some of the best wisdom that humanity has ever compiled. This is an exploration of the soul and the consciousness and how we understand our physical and spiritual forms in tandem. It is beautifully written and still poignant to this day. The forewords by the great Oprah Winfrey and Maya Angelou are also worth the price of admission. Zukav has essentially mapped out a trek toward enlightenment and it all starts by understanding the connection of the soul and body within yourself. It is no longer about the external power so commonly displayed by humans heretofore.

This spiritual awakening, of course, will inevitably lead to a much brighter and more successful life for yourself. I’ve used 27 Quick Life Transformation Tips: Simple & Effective Methods For Making This Your Best Year Ever to help me on my journey to self-discovery and inner and outer success. It is a book that can literally help you transform your life in short order with 27 tips that have actionable and easy to understand paths. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with this book as much as I’ve enjoyed my time with Zukav’s. Both of these books have opened my eyes to the possibilities that this new age of evolved humanity can bring. It has also opened me up to success in my personal, physical, and professional lives. I am eternally grateful for the knowledge I’ve accrued reading both of these books.

I’m also grateful for the wisdom that Zukav has shared with so many people. His book is a powerful exploration of the “authentic power” that we can attain through the alignment of our personality and our soul. I have never felt more like I was on the right track than after I read this book. I am also thoroughly pleased to have come across 27 Quick Life Transformation Tips. With both of these books in tow, I’ve been able to make a major transformation in my life for the better.

Thank you Gary. I am enjoying your book very much. This book is a practical guide for people who are serious about traversing the path of awakening to Spirit and need tips and ideas about ways to feel centered in your Soul's best perspective on all things. It's tricky business, and the author is very helpful in distilling down complex issues into simple terms. The reason for only 4 stars is that I'm getting a bit of ego in there. These are some of the best ways to stay on the path, but not the be all end all. We are all individuals and may find our own best ways to do the same thing, which are all valid. But reading this has helped me. There are quite a few great books out there that are finally and happily ending the choke hold that mainstream religion has had on our thoughts about the path to Spirit. Mainstream religion, as we know it, has only been a barrier due to it's exclusivity. Thank you Gary for your contribution toward advancing us.

This is a good guide if you are already on the spiritual path. It explains what soul is in a way I'd not read before, and says some very helpful things about how to work through negative emotions. I would have been turned off by this book a couple of years ago, because I was about 80% skeptical about spirituality - but if one already has some commitment, it is a terrific resource. It bears more than one reading.

This is an incredible book, but you must be open to it. I find that I need to read a paragraph or chapter more than once and then put it down and let what I've read sink in. There is much wisdom here. It's a book that I would recommend everyone read. If you are not ready for it, it will come back to you when you are.

We all know that Zukav has been around for a while, but the Seat of the Soul really continues to be his seminal work. I think discovering who you are and who you’re meant to be is the most important discovery that humans can make, and this is the book that will help you do it. I already had an older copy of the book, but I picked this one up for the new forewords and study guides. I have to say that the guides have proven to be eminently helpful and I find myself performing the exercises on an almost daily basis. The teachings within the book are undoubtedly profound and filled with advice that we can all use in our day-to-day lives. If you haven’t read The Seat of the Soul or any Gary Zukav writings, then now is the time.

You may also want to check out a book called Manifestation Magic by Alvin Huang and Chris D’Cruz. The book is an exploration of the Law of Attraction, and it discusses how to empower your own life. It offers valuable information what the Law of Attraction is and how to use it in your best interest. Asking the universe for wealth or good health might seem a little ridiculous to many people, but it has undoubtedly helped me. I have been able to achieve goals I never thought possible just by using the power of my own mind. If you want to attract positivity and the fruition of your dreams and goals, then it’s important to understand how the Law of Attraction works. This book will certainly clue you in.

While Zukav’s text might talk about the Law of Attraction in depth, the principles are still very much the same. The idea of getting in touch with your soul is in tune with the concepts espoused in the Law of Attraction. Understanding yourself as an integral part of the universe is, without question, one of the most important lessons you will ever learn.

I am so glad to have this 25th Anniversary Edition with a study guide. I have had several copies of the original over the years and have always given them away. I recently saw Gary Zukav on Oprah's Master Class after not having seen him in years. I just had to get this. I count Gary Zukav as an important teacher in my life. It must be time to read and study this timeless book again!

I bought this book because I saw Zukav's interview with Oprah and I thought this was a book I should read. I was right. It draws me inward where I believe God lives. Thank you, Gary Zukav.

Well, I know this book has been recommended by many including the big O herself and I bought into the hype and gave it a chance (twice!). While reading "The Seat of the Soul", I could just imagine being in a conversation with Zukav and wanting to jump out of the seat of my pants! The way he wrote this book made me feel like he would be a person who appeared to be an enlightened, ego-free guru to the outside observer; however, his style of writing made me perceive him as someone who would dominate the conversation using recycled new age mumbo jumbo (even considering publishing date) without ever glancing at me to see if I was understanding him or even still listening to him! Overall, while there were a few new/interesting things to consider, this book was a bunch of wordy woo woo if you ask me. Some who disagree with this review might just pass it off as me being an unenlightened reader. While that may be true, my soul knows that a third read of this book won't get me any closer to enlightenment--though it might help me fall asleep better on those nights where insomnia kicks in.
