This book gives the reader a solid knowledge of the origination of the right to own and bare arms. It positively leaves no doubt that an armed civilian population preserves liberty and freedom. This book clearly communicates that an armed civilian population is essential to prevent tyranny from overwhelming the country by foreign invaders or a despotic government. It chronicles European origins of armed civilians that slowly lost their rights to gun ownership and the resulting loss of freedom and even loss of life that resulted. What happened in Europe was prevented from happening in the United States by virtue of the Second Amendment.
