A classic of moral philosophy. Must read for anyone interested in how we form judgements and justifications.

"The Second-Person Standpoint" significantly furthers the discussion of moral obligation. The book is both richly detailed and big-picture illuminating. If you are interested in the source of moral authority--why we owe what we owe to one another--then this book is sure to satisfy your curiosity.
