More About the Author

Russel Lunt was born in 1970 in Durban, South Africa. An electronic engineer and computer programmer by trade, he gave it all up to travel to rural China to study the traditional Chinese internal martial arts of Tai Chi, Ba Gua, Xing Yi, and a style little-known outside the north-east called Ba Ji. On his travels he studied Mandarin and met his wife, with whom he has two daughters. After starting on this journey he decided to dedicate his spare time to finally writing the stories that had been gathering in his head since adolescence, ranging in genre from fantasy to science fiction to modern horror though sharing one common trait: magic.

Somewhere between fantasy and thriller this shortish book will not disappoint, even the romantic angle is handled effortlessly and with an unexpected element of pathos. Going on a plane trip - take this with you.

I get very little time to read and tend to prefer shorter books. In an attempt not to give even the slightest hint, I will make no reference to content. I found this one to be quite the page turner. I especially enjoyed the writing style.
