This is a wonderfully fun book. Either for research, I guess, or for enjoyable perusal. I guarantee that regardless of the extent of you vocabulary, you will expand your knowledge of archaic slang. Written as a guide by a chief of police. The book is a listing of slang terms and their "translation". Choose one or two that you like and start using them, people will really wonder what you've been up to!
