Book Description

Are you interested in Serial Killers?

Do you want to learn about some of the most infamous serial killers in history?

A serial killer is an individual that has killed three or more people in a sequential series of murders. In many cases, a serial killer is someone that has serious mental illness, sometimes on the line of mental retardation. But this is not always the case. Oftentimes serial killers have urges to kill because of their mental illness. This is different from someone who kills for revenge on another or for gratification. Serial killers have been a part of the world for as long as anyone can remember, and throughout time there have been numerous serial killers, who become infamous around the world, all related to their heinous crimes. The number of serial killers seems to have increased during the 20th Century, however, and it seems that serial killers are as commonly heard of as anyone else.

What you'll learn inside:

- What makes someone a serial killer
- Information about some of the most infamous serial killers in history
- Why certain people become serial killers
- What different serial killers did to capture and torture victims
- And much, MUCH more!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it even at free February 11, 2014

I wasn't able to get past the first two descriptions due to the numerous inaccuracies. The author needs to remove the book from sale and correct the facts that some simple research would teach him. Even though this was downloaded for free the mistakes were too numerous to make it worthwhile; let alone the price it is being offered at now.

2.0 out of 5 stars I Could Have Written This Better In Middle School April 8, 2014

Despite this being free I am shocked it was even published. I found a few spelling errors and many grammatical errors. Anyone who has a basic understanding of English at a sixth grade level who has watched a few episodes of Criminal Minds could have written this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not very factual February 1, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Many statements in the book are inaccurate and incomplete. I think if the author would have spent more time on research this could have been a decent book. The editing could have been much better, as well. When speaking of victims the term children is brought up a lot. Yes, some victims were young adults, but the term children is used instead, which gives the wrong connotation. Gacy did not dress as a clown during the murders and all but one of Dahmer's murders occurred in Milwaukee not Ohio as stated in the book.
