I have been waiting for a book like this for a long time! Rabbi Bailey successfully synthesizes modern psychology with ancient Jewish wisdom in a way that is enjoyable to read and immediately practical and relevant to life. Well done indeed!

I bought this book after hearing the author speak about it. He described a book full of awesome insights and practical life lessons that could help anyone with their relationships. I am happy to say that he described the contents perfectly. The writing style is addictive, I couldn't put the book down. And by the time I was finished I felt that the book had helped me understand myself better than I ever knew my self. It also has helped my marriage and relationship with my co-workers. I highly recommend the Seven Ways!!

A caveat. I know the author personally, and he bounced some ideas off of me as he developed his book. While I haven't read the entire book, I have read enough to highly recommend it to anyone interested in a personality types, nature vs nurture, kabbalah and improving ones self. I have had the privilege of hearing Rabbi Bailey speak many times, in his lectures in Israel, Florida and California, and he has an intellectual yet very accessible way of presenting his ideas in a clear, concise format, using a breadth of knowledge, from the talmud, to kabbalah, to psychological and business concepts. The seven ways works hand in hand with the DISC or Meyer Briggs personality tests, and expands upon them in using them for our daily life, as well as bringing in religion and kabbalah in the mix. I am looking forward to receiving my copy and finally reading the complete book, and I hope for much more from Rabbi Bailey.

The book's method is something like a four dimensional Myers-Briggs formulation, one which draws in social psychology and sociology. That alone makes for interesting enough reading. What impresses me even more is Rabbi Bailey's depth of erudition. Am seeing the richness of Hebrew through Bailey's writing and am understanding how I can change myself to be a kind, loving nurturing friend.

I eagerly await reading future works from this author.
