"The Seven Women Project is full of personality and fun. While reading the book I was hoping Karen and Meredith would come over and coach the team of women within me, but by the end, I had taken some notes and created a plan that I hope to execute on my own. The Seven Women Project is a great resource and even a guide for balance in our lives. This book acknowledges that women are called to wear many hats, the trick is knowing when to switch over...and then wearing the right hat with style!"

The Seven Women Project is charming, witty, and inspiring. It embraces the existence (and encourages the exploration) of the multiple dimensions and aspects of ourselves as women, not to mention offers some great fashion advice. As I read it, I found myself touched by each woman and received several nuggets of wisdom and guidance from each one, while affirming that these insights were already inside of me, as well as parts of each of these women. It is truly empowering and uplifting, and a must-read for women of all ages!

"I have always been such a "Kate"! But learned from the seven women project that I am also "Hanna" and "Donna", and now is the time to let my "Sophie" out. Since learning about "The Seven Women", I have been able to use this within my own interior design business by identifying who each of my clients are and expressing that style through their homes.

"Karen McCullough and Meredith McCullough help us to gain understanding and acceptance of our own complexities. No matter which of the seven women we mainly identify with, we know we have the strength and backup from the other women within ourselves. Keep this book within reach, like a good friend, there are days when you need the support it gives you."

The Seven Women Project is a conversation between a mother and daughter based on the premise that within every woman is an inherent store of strength, know-how and ingenuity waiting to be tapped as she reinvents herself through all of life's stages. It is about the "more" of women -- more life, more diversity, more possibility and more style. The books begins when Karen, a fashion icon in Houston's booming oil 80s, awakes to find her life gone awry. She is propelled from this dark place into a new, authentic and dynamically evolving role when she discovers within herself a female team with healing, energizing and transformational powers. The Seven Women Project is playfully serious, offering fun tips on fashion, good reading, how to behave at work and what to wear on a date, while simultaneously exploring and celebrating the power of femininity and enlightened leadership. It amuses, comforts and inspires, encouraging women to be themselves... and then some.

"Women who want to be leaders today often buy into the wrong definition of leadership. It is filled with masculine behavior and imagery. In reality, the evolving and new definition of leadership encompasses both masculine and feminine traits. As women, we no longer need to check our feminine selves at the business door. Karen and Meredith McCullough do a wonderful job capturing this in Gwen. Your inner Gwen puts this all in perspective. Allow her vulnerability, femininity and receptivity guide you as a leader in the 21st century."

The Seven Women Project was a great book and I had so much fun reading it. I thought it provided insight to who I am most often and who strive to be. While I believe I am a classic Kate, I identified with each of the seven women described in the book. Donna is my favorite of all of the women in the book and I try to embrace my Donna as often as possible.
Karen and Meredith wrote a fabulous guide for all women, I loved the book so much I got copies for all of my girlfriends too.
