Format: Paperback
The Blackmail Ring is the earliest novels of the Shadow to have never been reprinted since its original release in 1932. For those who don't know, Bantam Books reprinted 7 novels in the late 60's, followed by Pyramid books which reprinted another 23 novels in the early 70, and with the exception of a few other one-of reprints, that was it for bringing those old pulps back into the public eye.
So for those fans who have the old paperbacks, here's your chance to fill that gap in your collection, and for new fans, you get to read an early novel of the Shadow, which is a stand alone tale (as most of them are), one of the better novels by Walter Gibson, who wrote most of the Shadow's 325 or so novels in the 30's and 40's.

In addition to the main story, there is a second novel and historical articles on the featured stories. What more do you want?

Even though I have only read the first 6 chapters of this new Shadow reprinted pulp magazine novel,it is a very
suspenseful read. The style is very film-noirish & very classical Walter Gibson. For anybody interested in crime/
mystery/adventure novels,this is a recommended read.Excellent!
