I bought this book for my mom for Mothers Day. She's 86 years old and this has always been her favorite book. I looked for it before but I was told it was out of print and so I quit looking. I decided to try one more time and I found that it had been printed again. The story is really good and you really get to know and feel the characters.It's a timeless love story and I think it's worth reading.

I read this a number of years ago and then read it again recently. It captures the life and countryside and has a surprising ending.
