i have watched and turned off a lot of network t.v. iam 58 and do not waste my time with useless shows. this is one fine dramatic series with a cast of characters that you defintly become with and care about. the writers are top not the fast paced directing fits the shows characters and helps build the ssuspence.then come the actors bringing it all to life and making the people(especially with flashbacks) believeable. their is no black and white answers to the problems they face-just like in real life you do the best you can sometimes for the right reasons-sometimes for the wrong reasons- and then you live with the consequences of your actions. people perceive vic makey as a hero even though he breaks the law because you know down deep he really believes in what he is doing. season seven will be hard to watch knowing it will be over a some kind of end will be put to mackey or his career. long live lemonhead!!

If you aren't already hooked on this series, buy season 1 and start watching. You will be hooked after a couple of episodes. When I got to the last episode of Season 6, I stopped and watched several episodes a second time just to make it last. It is that good!
