This is one of my favorite rap/hip-hop songs ever. The lyrics are so motivational & I love the message of rising above whatever it is that tries to stop you from becoming the best you can be. The lyrics, instrumentation, & melody just give me happy chills :)

Lupe Fiasco is a very skilled lyricist, and there's a lot of his personal life involved in this track. And it's just a good hip hop song overall, you'll love it.

The lyrics are amazing. The video is incredible. It makes me think about the people that doubted me as I was growing up, which really did a number on me. (I don't mean to get all soft but it's the truth.)
Whether or not the lyrics mean that much, it has a great beat and most people catch on to the lyrics quickly and enjoy the song and find themselves singing it later in the day.
Kick Push is a great song too. Both are very positive. I think I heard one of his popular songs (Superstar?) on Pandora. I added his name and created a new station so I could hear his music whenever I want to. I don't think I've listened to any other station all summer long. Outkast comes on every once in a while. They crack me up!
Back to this song's review... I want to say that I also respect the artist. I think he'll be around for along time. There's a reason so many people petitioned and raised such a fuss about the album's release.
This review isnt very helpful. You'll get a better idea by just listening to the short sample on Amazon's webpage. Ya gotta love that!
