There is ample use of known science and a touch of science fiction.
Besides the interesting exploration of religion, spirituality, and technological advancement and ethics, I enjoyed some of the simple observations the authors made.
The Shroud does not disappoint......you've got a blend of mystery, intrigue, romance, science, history and enough twists and turns in the plot to keep you guessing.
