Very easy to set up and very comfortable.

It's the same size as a crib mattress or toddler bed and a crib sheet fits perfectly.

The air pump works well - it inflates and deflated very quickly.

We have a 2 1/2 year old. I was really worried about going away with her as she is now in a 'big girl bed' and I didn't know what we were going to do with sleep arrangements as she has outgrown her pack and play. We bought this and it was wonderful. My husband blew it up and I put the same bedding that she uses at home on the mattress. She immediately went and lay down on it and said, 'Look at my new bed!'. We had a 4 night stay in a condo, and we did have to fill it up a couple of times but the pump works really well and it's very quick. I also really liked the fact that you could tuck in the sheets and the blanket, it made it feel like a real little bed.
I recommend this bed for any vacation short or long. We are very happy with it and it will get plenty of use for years to come.

I was searching for a travel sleep solution for my 3 yr old. At home she still sleeps in a crib, she's way too big for the pack-n-play and forget about having her sleep in the bed with us! This bed appeared to be the ticket! It's the perfect size and her crib sheets fit on the matress perfectly. The only negative is the "side rails" are not going to keep your kid on the matress. The first night I found my daughter halfway on the floor, she was falling off from the top of the matress. Seems she was "chasing" the pillow that kept creeping up and off the matress. To solve this problem we wedged the matress between the two queen beds with the top against the night stand. Problem solved and no more falling out of bed. It does need to be said that the matress is only a few inches off the ground and "Falling" out of the bed is not going to hurt. My only advise is when you set it up, put it in a corner.
I had no problems with the matress holding air. We pumped it up the first night and never had to refill it after 7 nights.

Our 2 1/2 year old is an awesome sleeper and a seasoned traveler. We have put many miles on the Baby Bjorn travel crib, but sadly he has outgrown this gem. Now we need an option for travel that gets him off the floor but keeps him out of our bed. He has a toddler bed at home with a small side rail and he hasn't fallen out of it once - I can't say the same for this glorified floaty. Here's the skinny:
Pros:
- I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it holds (and properly fits) standard crib sheets in place. Also, it comes with a nice little pump that makes for quick inflation and deflation - it has a reverse function.
Cons:
- seriously smelly like cheap plastic pool toys. We inflated it before we left and let it off-gas in the garage for a week. It still stinks.
- cheap thin plastic. This thing could easily pop.
- the novelty factor of sleeping on a bouncy house floor is hard for a 2 year old to deal with. He wanted to bounce on it, which given the thin plastic, is definitely not a good idea.
- far and away, the biggest drawback is that the kid just didn't sleep very well on it. The 1st night, I was up every hour putting him back in the bed after he either fell off the side or scooted off top and woke himself up. The second night, instead of just putting it against a wall I had to move some furniture to use a corner of the room and then used couch cushions to make a improvised side rail to keep him in bed. He only worked his way out twice that night - an improvement, but wholly unacceptable given the fact that he sleeps through the night in every other bed he's ever slept in. Plus, creating a pillow fortress might work when visiting family, but finding a suitable corner and cushions in a hotel room could be a challenge.

It didn't work for us and it may not work for you, especially if you have a kid who likes to snuggle up against the headboard or the side of his crib or bed.

We got this bed prior to visiting my parents, and I'm so glad that I did. It worked out so much better than the pack and play, so much better. He isn't out of his crib yet (18 months at the time that we purchased) and is still using it on trips (now 2). He did end up off of it after part of the night, but it was a slow move, so it ended up being fine. I love that you can tuck the sheet in. It worked out great for us!

We filled the bed and before my grandson even arrived it had deflated. We had too little notice to buy a replacement so do not know if this was a fluke.

I was hesitant at first to by this bed over some of the more popular name brand beds. However, when I received the bed and let my 2.5 year old use it 4 night on vacation, I could not be happier. In summary, perfect bed at perfect price!

I ordered this bed for my grandson to have when he visits or for my daughter to use when they travel. What we did NOT realize was that the bed is very noisy whenever the child turns over during the night. It makes the kind of noise you make when you are sleeping on a rubberized product like a life raft or something. The noise woke my grandson up and it really bothered my daughter who was sleeping in the same room. No way to mitigate that, with blankets or towels or extra sheets or anything. It just makes a noise. So we had to return it. Too bad. It looked like a good deal.

We purchased this during a move when we were in between houses (hence the delayed review) and needing a bed while we stayed with family. I'm still sick over the fact that our circumstances didn't allow me to return the product right away, but hopefully this comment will help someone else. Less than 2 weeks after taking this out of the box, the bed was flat - we found a small tear despite being covered with a crib sheet (and only being used by 1 of 2 daughters, each under 40 pounds). I guess our only option now is to try a patch.
